Beavercreek Restoration

in collaboration with I CAN-T.E.R.

We've done restoration and habitat enhancement project on a section of Beaver Creek! We will be removing invasive species and adding in numerous new native species, many that are listed as species at risk. We will be focusing on creating and enhancing habitat for different reptile, amphibian and fish species, particularly the grass pickerel which is listed as a species of special concern in Ontario.

Cam's Community Garden

This was our pilot project at the beginning

Our pilot project was to carry out community gardens in order to raise awareness of the issues around food security and to help alleviate some of this worry for so many families while giving them the opportunity to learn about gardening. Many locals do not have the option of being able to go to the grocery store and buy fresh produce whenever they need to and some do not have the space to grow their own either. One of the greatest ways to get people involved and to work together as a community is through gardens like these..
